As the summer days fade and golden shades begin to appear, I did have autumn in mind when putting together this menu. Among the sandwich fillings, beetroot features in a quite delicious homemade beetroot & walnut hummus. Then there is something from the apple harvest in my signature apple and fangipane tart. In addition, there is a ‘comforting’ Yorkshire Tea loaf with obligatory wedges of Wensleydale cheese (one of my guests is an avid cheese lover so this one’s for you N!)

You have got me craving Yorkshire tea loaf, what a delicious spread!
OMG that looks divine! Next time you’re home in Pmb, we shall expect some of the hummus! Your brother will turn his nose up at it, but I wont! Our weather is so grotty, that tea would be divine! Warm lounge, friends and all that grub!
Thanks M. Certainly happy to provide some of the hummus on my next visit 🙂
