I am really looking forward to doing another gluten free afternoon tea. On previous occasions I have not been able to fill the whole table with coeliac sufferers. I am pleased to say, however, that this time round, all the guests who made the first contact for this event are all coeliacs. Some of them are bringing guests that are not sufferers but the fact that the principle contact was with the very people I am hoping to reach, is a real ‘tick in the box’ for me.

Sweet potato and poppy seed tart sounds delicious! I’m so pleased that you’re going to make a table of coeliacs very happy this weekend. 🙂
Thanks for your comment. The sweet potato and poppy seed tart was a real hit (and the first time I’d ever made it too!). It really was great to have a table of coeliacs and their feedback has been very positive.
