A host of possibilities were in store for this cake theme whether in flavour or decorations. Lavender, elderflower, orange blossom, rose were those that came initially to mind when the theme was set. And we ended up with a variety of all these in one guise or another with the theme being interpreted in very interesting, individual and creative ways. Not only were the cakes a feast for the eyes in prettiness but the flavours were all very well done.
Our hosts were the very hospitable YoYo’s in Shipley who were extremely kind to have us back and looked after us very well. So a big thank you goes to them for making us feel so welcome again.
